Why the new look?
It was past due! I've "remodeled" Michigansux.com a half-dozen times since it first appeared in 2002. Each reincarnation was layered on top of the previous, which resulted in a hodgepodge of schemes and colors. I felt it was time to stop the insanity and start with a fresh approach!
What happened to all the old content?
Most of it will reappear in some form or another over the coming year. If there's something in particular you remember from past visits, try looking under the "Classic" label.
Why a blog format this time?
It allows me to get information up quickly! I spend way too much time fine-tuning every page I create, which result in not enough time to complete everything I want. The blog format allows me to concentrate on providing new content on much more regular basis.
What's up with "SUX" instead of "SUCKS"? Can't you spell?
While I don't count spelling as one of my top ten skills and I'm very grateful for the advent of the spell-checker, I would have preferred MichiganSucks. That particular domain name is owned by one of those folks who get rich (?) from sites that contain nothing but ads, so we'll just make do MichiganSux.com. And, hey, whether it's SUCKS or SUX, it sure won't change the nature of Michigan!
Where's do you get all your material?
As a fervent
Buckeye fan since 1968, I've been collecting anti-Michigan propaganda for over 40 years. More recently, many of the fans and visitors to MichiganSux.com have been kind enough to send new material as it appears in "the cloud". And I would be remiss to not mention Rick M. here as a "Super" supplier of material!
